LNG Technician (Operations) Overview The LNG Technician (Operations) will perform duties as a plant field operator, proficient in the operation of all plant processes and utilities in a rotational shift environment, including holidays, weekends, and nights. Responsibilities Operate Distributed Control System (DCS) consoles and LNG process systems adhering to safety protocols. Operate all plant utilities including air, water, power/steam generation, GTG operation, sanitation, and nitrogen. Monitor and perform operator duties for the loading/unloading of LNG ships. Review and train on environmental, safety, operations, and security procedures. Record and evaluate operating performance data, informing Shift Supervisor/Management of potential issues. Work with Shift Supervisor/Lead Operator to resolve plant problems and improve reliability and safety. nalyze chemistry and adjust chemical concentrations as required. Monitor steam piping system and associated equipment, making necessary repairs or adjustments. pply safety and environmental protocols, adhering to regulatory mandates. Requirements Three (3) years' experience in an industrial setting, process/product chemical engineering, operations, or power plant operations. Recent experience with LNG and Control Room is preferred; petrochemical NGL, cryogenic natural gas processing, or hydrocarbon processing experience may be acceptable. Knowledge of analytical chemistry and laboratory concepts/techniques for high-purity water. Knowledge of environmental regulations. Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. nalytical and deductive reasoning skills.
