Employs radiation-detecting equipment to perform patient imaging procedures; describes procedures to patients and answers questions. Implements radiation safety standards and quality assurance into daily work and monitors a patient s condition during the course of an imaging procedure. Collects patient information, analyzes data and provides quality images for a physician to diagnose a patient.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)We use Siemen Symbias Cameras. Epic Charting, and SECTRA PACS. Required skills and minimum years of experience. We prefer few years experience but depends on candidate. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) NMTCB , AHA BLS , SD State LicenseShift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) Monday-Friday, 8 hour varied shifts. Weekend call 0700-1800, every 3-4 weeks.Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. -PACS and Epic TrainingComments: Monday-Friday, 8 hour varied shifts.
