We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller in Fenton, MO for a Dental Laboratory Technician. The regular hours for this position are from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: Read the prescription and all additional paperwork to establish the doctor's preferences. If there are any questions or discrepancies, see the supervisor or OTI leader.Evaluate model work and articulations to see if it meets Keller standardsSelect denture teeth from tooth stock per doctor's specificationsMark model for outline of restorationCreate base platesCreate esthetic control basesCreate bite rimsSet denture teeth on fully edentulous casesSet denture teeth on partially edentulous casesFollow all steps, in order, according to the Technical Team Policies (TTPs) to insure consistent and accurate resultsReview final work and check completely that all quality standards have been met before passing the work to the next technicianSkills and Abilities Required:Must be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishGood hand-eye coordination, good manual dexterity, excellent perception skills and the strong ability to pay close attention to details.Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve, using past experience and success to gauge best steps on future cases.Verification in all applicable Technical Team Policies (TTPs) and the ability to apply knowledge from Technical Team Policies (TTPs) to the job.Minimum Education and Experience Required:Required: High school diploma or GED equivalentNo experience requiredHazardous Materials or Equipment Used:Sharp instruments, knives and bladesWax solventMonomerPolymerMotorized LatheDental HandpiecePhysical Requirements:Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reachExhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motionsGood manual dexterityAbility to walk, sit and stand for long periods of timeRepeated bending and kneelingVision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or colorPush, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 poundsMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English
