Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

Currently seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Litigation Team. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a challenging environment and are eager to take on a diverse range of tasks. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the firm's legal team to assist in all aspects of litigation, including white-collar litigation, commercial litigation and employment cases.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate, edit, and finalize a wide range of legal documents and correspondence, inluding but not limited to Answers, Motions, reports, pleadings, Appearances, Responses to Discovery, etc.
  • Manage case initiation procedures, including conflict checks and file organization
  • Prepare and submit legal filings in various jurisdictions
  • Maintain comprehensive calendar systems for case-related events and deadlines
  • Process incoming communications and manage attorneys' schedules
  • Handle timekeeping, billing procedures, and expense management

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting attorneys in commercial/civil litigation
  • Proficiency in state and federal court procedures, including electronic filing systems on NJ and PA
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Adaptability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with legal-specific software platforms is advantageous
