**Flux Core Welder****Job Description**We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The position involves welding to custom fabricate shell and tube heat exchangers, ASME Pressure Vessels, and Tanks up to 15’ in diameter, 120 feet in length, and up to 320,000 pounds. You will perform MIG flux-core welding on a variety of stainless, carbon, and precious metals using 045 wire. There is potential for TIG welding and fitting if you are trained. This role also requires code welding and blueprint reading.**Hard Skills**+ Welding of fabricated heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and tanks+ Experience in fabricating steel products+ Experienced in reading blueprints and weld symbol knowledge+ Knowledgeable in ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1 (a plus)+ Knowledgeable with layout and fabrication of product+ Physical capability for job requirements, including lifting 50+ lbs+ Comfortable with heights, welding 15-20 feet in the air+ MIG welding+ Flux core welding+ Mig hard wire+ Blueprint reading+ Math skills (diameter, pi, degree line, measurements)**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Decatur, Illinois.**Work Environment**Work in 4 buildings on a 6-acre site with 50,000 square feet of production floor space. The largest products are over 100 feet long and weigh over 60 tons.
