Business Developer (Energy Advisor)
for the TVA for Business and Industry Program serving it's large commercial and industrial energy efficiency program to within the
Tennessee Valley
and located in the
Greater Middle
Tennessee/Southern Kentucky
region .
Nashville/Clarksville,
Bowling Green/Paducah areas . The ideal candidate will have an existing professional experience working in the energy efficiency industry.Responsibilities:This position is responsible for delivering program awareness, identifying opportunities, and achieving program participation to support energy savings goals. These efforts will be executed through:Direct engagement with Local Power Companies, End-Use Customers and TVA Program Staff.Working with Program management on targeted program related tasks.Executing marketing strategies to include local conferences, webinars and program engagements.Attending scheduled program events.Develop program strategies that aid in supporting program efficiency goals.Hosting in-person and virtual meetings.Identifying energy efficiency opportunities.Conducting program demos and education training.Aiding in application submissions and overall outreach efforts.
Qualifications:**Candidate must reside in the state of Tennessee for client service necessities. **Requirements:Bachelor-s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.6+ years of related experience.Familiarity/knowledge of electrical energy efficiency core technology areas such as HVAC, Lighting, controls, compressed air/etc.Possess a valid driver-s license with clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.Able to travel by car daily within assigned territory.Resident of Middle Tennessee or Southern Kentucky preferred.
