The
Senior Interior Designer II
is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences and managing multiple complex design projects across various typologies. This role involves developing innovative interior design concepts, presenting compelling narratives, and ensuring the design aligns with the client’s goals, budget, and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead design development and manage design teams on complex, concurrent projects.
Engage clients to inspire and deliver sustainable design solutions.
Create space plans, 3D concepts, and material palettes that align with client vision.
Present design concepts and maintain design integrity throughout all phases.
Oversee preparation of construction documents and ensure alignment with design intent.
Collaborate on construction and FF&E budgets, schedules, and project management.
Mentor team members and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistent design quality.
Stay updated on the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
Firm Leadership:
Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and help drive operational improvements.
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of staff.
Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in interior design (CIDA accredited) or architecture.
12+ years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio.
NCIDQ certification or Registered Architect, LEED, or WELL certified preferred.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
