Centrus Energy is seeking a strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) Investor Relation and Communications who is collaborative and capable of building consensus and commitment toward shared outcomes.

What You Will Do:

The SVP of Investor Relations and Communications will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s investor relations strategy, leading all aspects of external and internal communications, and ensuring alignment with the company’s business strategy and goals. This executive will report to the CEO and serve as a key spokesperson for the company, fostering strong relationships with investors, analysts, the media, and other stakeholders. The SVP will drive transparency, credibility, and consistent messaging to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Investor Relations:

Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy to effectively communicate the company’s vision, growth strategy, financial performance, and value to investors, analysts, and stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders to ensure clear and consistent messaging.

Lead quarterly earnings calls, investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences, preparing presentations, press releases, and financial reports.

Monitor industry trends, peer company performance, and investor feedback to provide insights and recommendations to senior management and the board of directors.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and investor communications.

Corporate Communications:

Develop and manage the company’s corporate communication strategy, including public relations, media relations, internal communications, and crisis communications.

Collaborate with executive leadership and various departments to align messaging with the company’s strategic objectives and maintain consistency across all communication channels.

Oversee the creation of press releases, executive speeches, corporate announcements, and other external communication materials.

Serve as the company’s spokesperson, managing media inquiries and interviews, and cultivating relationships with key media outlets to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation.

Strategic Leadership:

Act as a key advisor to the Board of Directors and executive team, providing insights on investor sentiment, market trends, and strategic communications best practices.

Work closely with the finance, legal, and corporate development teams to align messaging and ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant disclosure of company information.

Lead the investor relations and communications team, managing resources, budgets, and talent development to achieve business objectives.

Internal Communications:

Develop and implement a robust internal communications strategy to engage employees, align them with the company’s mission, and foster a positive corporate culture.

Collaborate with human resources and other departments to ensure effective communication of key initiatives, company news, and employee engagement programs.

We’d Love To Hear From People With:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in investor relations, communications, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Proven track record of managing investor relations for a publicly traded company, with experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and capital markets.

Strong understanding of financial statements, market analysis, and valuation principles.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work effectively with executive leadership and manage complex communications in high-pressure situations.

Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

Pay:

Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $275,000-350,000. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
