Senior Product Manager - Partner Integrations

GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer-obsessed and results-oriented Senior Product Manager to join our Sales team as we reimagine our Partner Integrations and Partner API strategy.We are looking for candidates who have strong product management leadership experience, a proven track record of building and managing teams that build technical products (APIs, Microservices, SDKs etc.), and a clear record of building strong relationships with business partners. Successful candidates will also have customer empathy, strong execution skills, and a track record of building and leading multiple high-performing sprint teams.This position is preferably a hybrid role; however, exceptional remote candidates will be considered.Hybrid locations include: Washington, DC, Fredericksburg, VA, San Jose/San Francisco, CA, and Seattle, WA.In this position, you will be a single-threaded owner who works with Technology, Design, and Business teams to operate and reimagine GEICO’s partner-centric technology products. These include our APIs, microservices, and SDKs that enable GEICO’s business with other insurance carriers and sales partners.In this role, you will be accountable for:Leading multiple high-performing sprint teams that balance a portfolio of products and capabilities focused on partner integrations.Increasing sales in partner-owned placements by optimizing the customer experience.Increasing the number of partners who offer GEICO’s products in their channel by offering best-in-class technical products that allow us to integrate quickly (ex. APIs, microservices, SDKs, etc.).Building technical products that are scalable and adaptive to changing partner needs and market conditions.Promoting and identifying effective ways of working and managing talent to drive sustainable results.Inspiring all levels of the company with a compelling product vision that is backed in data.Rolling up your sleeves and supporting new teams and new ways of working with internal and external partners.Reporting on success, risks, and missteps, using data, relationships, and context to move the ball forward.Influencing organizational change through proper scoping, process improvement, and positive team dynamics.Diving into the details, writing requirements, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and business results.The ideal candidate is excellent at:Representing Product at all levels of the organization and crafting an inspirational product vision.Assessing and decomposing a big market opportunity into a product/technology vision and turning that into bite-size milestones.Building and leading multiple high-performing teams that are cross-functional.Overseeing product/feature/capability rollout plans.Partnering with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture.Leveraging data to drive roadmap decisions and communicate impact to stakeholders.Demonstrating a strong bias for action, partnership, and influence ability.Synthesizing business, market, and platform data to identify opportunities.Creating and using compelling artifacts to influence stakeholders and communicate progress.Knowledge in Underwriting, Rating, and Insurance Product Offerings is a plus.Basic Qualifications:5+ years experience in product leadership positions with proven record of accomplishment.5+ years in Agile product management.5+ years of experience creating Consumer or Associate facing products.4+ years managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery.3+ years leading, mentoring, and coaching product managers.Bachelor’s Degree.Preferred Qualifications:High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills.Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions.Passion for coaching and mentorship.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.Insurance industry experience preferable, not required.Agile certifications preferred.Annual Salary:$143,000.00 - $224,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline.
