www.nstreetvillage.org .OVERALL OBJECTIVEN Street Village is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to lead its fundraising strategy and operations, with a significant focus on expanding the organization’s major donor program and foundation funding streams. The CDO will serve as an integral member of the leadership team and will drive revenue growth, build the development department’s staff and systems, and serve as a thought leader with the CEO and Board of Directors.POSITION SUMMARYWorking closely with the CEO, the CDO will serve as a key ambassador for the organization, building and deepening engagement with donors and driving broader awareness and philanthropic support. The position helps forge relationships to build N Street Village's visibility, impact, and financial resources. Additionally, the CDO will participate in the development of a long-term sustainability plan.The right candidate will have proven success in major donor/high net-worth individual (HNWI) cultivation and stewardship, events, corporate and foundation fundraising, digital fundraising and communications, and volunteer engagement. The CDO will report directly to the CEO and works closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Board of Directors, and other organizational leaders.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:Reporting to the President and CEO, the Chief Development Officer serves as a member of the Executive Team and supervises a team of seven with three direct reports: Manager, Donor Relations, Senior Communications Manager, and Development Director. Historically, the development team has generated more than $2 million annually.
