The ideal candidate provides technical support in the pre-production, production, and post-production phases for video content.The Multimedia Production Specialist will assist with audiovisual production for CRS events (including lighting, video recording, and audio mixing); recording, editing and producing audio and video content for Congress and CRS employees; and providing administrative support for multimedia-related activities.The DIR Congressional Programs and Communications Office is responsible for activities including, but not limited to the following:Coordinating over 250 programs and seminars for Congress each year;Producing videos and podcasts to inform Congress;Engaging in outreach to Congress, including developing and presenting information about CRS programs, products and services; and,Managing media relations, social media, websites and internal communications.Human ResourcesLibrary of Congress101 Independence Ave, S.E.Washington, D.C. 20540-1600Email: JobHelp@loc.gov
