Commercial Real Estate Attorney / Junior Partner
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our team as a Junior Partner in our Atlanta office. With a focus on a suite of transactional tasks, the ideal candidate will bring a robust background in navigating complex real estate transactions which encompass acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development projects. This pivotal role demands a professional who thrives on independently managing entire transaction processes from inception to closure, demonstrating acute legal and business acumen throughout each phase.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a broad spectrum of commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
Draft, review, and negotiate a range of transaction documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, loan documentation, and more
Perform comprehensive due diligence including title and survey review, zoning analysis, environmental assessments, and property inspections
Provide strategic legal and business advice to clients, focusing on deal structure and risk management
Coordinate all aspects of the closing process, ensuring compliance with all legal, financial, and regulatory requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, updating them regularly on transaction progress and insights
Collaborate seamlessly with team members including other attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the Georgia State Bar
At least 7 years of experience in commercial real estate law
Demonstrated ability to handle complex real estate transactions
In-depth knowledge of Georgia real estate laws and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a lead attorney on significant real estate deals
Track record of developing client relationships and expanding client services
Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Expertise in environmental due diligence
A strong team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills
High proficiency in legal research tools and methodologies
Ability to provide guidance and leadership to junior staff
