Passion for our mission and vision is required!We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to lead the development and implementation of operational applications for our aerospace manufacturing processes using Palantir Foundry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software and data engineering, and a proven track record of delivering scalable and high-performance solutions within a fast-paced environment. This role will focus on building robust, data-driven applications leveraging Palantir Foundry's Ontology to streamline and optimize manufacturing operations.As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications, working closely with cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver rapid, effective solutions. You will champion software engineering and data engineering best practices, ensuring the implementation of highly maintainable and scalable systems. This is an opportunity to significantly impact our operations and drive efficiencies through advanced digital capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and implementation of full-stack operational applications on Palantir Foundry.Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to understand and translate manufacturing requirements into actionable software solutions.Apply software engineering and data engineering best practices for rapid application development, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.Develop APIs, front-end interfaces, and back-end systems to integrate with existing manufacturing platforms and databases.Guide the development and deployment of real-time data applications.Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions to drive architectural decisions.Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to data pipelines, integration, and application performance.Ensure proper version control, testing, and documentation of all applications developed.Stay current with new technologies and methodologies, proposing improvements and innovations.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in full-stack engineering.Extensive experience with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms.Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, such as JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue), Python, Java, or other similar languages.Strong understanding of database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).Experience in cloud-based architectures and deploying applications in cloud environments.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and data pipeline issues.Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.Experience in data integration, transformation, and real-time processing.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industries.Familiarity with modern data architecture and tools.Experience with agile development methodologies.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace manufacturing technologies.Collaborative work environment with a focus on innovation and continuous learning.Flexible work options and career development programs.Compensation Range for WA applicants:
