UNIT: Cardiac Tele - Tower 7Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:3 or 1:4Common diagnoses/Types of patients include CABG, MVR, STEMI, HF, Fundoplication, VATS Decordication, vascular repairRNs are required to titrate dripsCommon titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Cardizem, AmiodaroneResource/Charge nurse ideally does not take patients1 PCT for 16 bedsRT Equipment: Cpap, BiPap, HFNCAdditional Details
travel teams must have their own carsDAY 1 PASS FAIL SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changesif Clinical Recommends, manager to review before offeringTravelers going to St. Joseph main campus and/or St. Joseph Westgate campusThe hospital expects that every nurse is competent in maintaining sterile field.
