This position is ideal for an attorney with a proven track record in state and federal criminal cases who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to excellence in legal representation. The ideal candidate has experience in both state and federal courts, is fully bilingual in Spanish, and is looking to grow with a firm dedicated to client care and professional development. Responsibilities: •

Client Representation:

Meet with clients in person or at detention centers to assess their legal needs and determine the best strategy for their case. •

Case Management:

Handle a diverse caseload, including misdemeanors and felonies, and manage each case from inception to resolution. •

Court Appearances:

Represent clients in hearings and trials in Virginia state courts as well as in federal court within the Eastern District of Virginia. •

Legal Advocacy:

Prepare, file, and argue court motions, memoranda, and other legal documents before state and federal judges in Northern Virginia. Qualifications: •

Licensed in Virginia:

Admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and in the Eastern District of Virginia Federal Court. •

Trial Experience:

At least 3 years of criminal defense experience, including felony and jury trial experience. •

Federal and State Expertise:

Proven ability to navigate both state and federal criminal cases. •

Bilingual Proficiency:

Fully bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred to better serve our diverse client base. •

Communication Skills:

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively advocate for clients in and out of the courtroom. Compensation: $115,000+ annually
