This move is not just about being physically present; it's about reigniting the spirit that comes from face-to-face interactions, fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture where every voice is heard and everyone thrives.What You'll Do:Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with Vulcan standards.Manage day to day activity, sales and growth of store.Take responsibility for purchasing, store inventory, report writing, cash handling, customer service, interaction with vendors and other branches.Develop a pipeline of talent through coaching, feedback, engagement, and ongoing talent identification and recruitment.Manage building materials warehouse, inventory, and sales of the branch.Work with outside sales representatives, customers, and vendor representatives to promote sales.Manage equipment, materials, and employees for maximum efficiency.Manage the payroll for the employees at branch.Run and review reports for branch operations and Operations Manager.Assist with deliveries as needed.QualificationsCustomer service and sales/marketing experience in building materials, concrete or construction industry preferred. Experience with order taking preferred.High School Diploma is minimum requirement with some college work desired.Three to five years working experience with building materials, concrete, or construction industry desired.Bi-lingual with Spanish-speaking is a plus.PERSONAL QUALITIES:Have the ability to communicate and interact well with others.Must be a self-starter who works well with minimum supervision.Must be able to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate in English directly or over telephone or in person.Must possess excellent math, verbal communications and computer skills.What You'll Like About Us:Great Company Culture.

the base salary range for this role is between

$85,000 - $95,000 annual salary . This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package.
