Counsel

to support the Work Dynamics group in the Americas.Counsel – Americas Work Dynamics – Chicago, IllinoisResponsibilities:Review, prepare, and negotiate contracts with third-party vendors performing a variety of outsourced services; forms will include Service Contractor Agreements and Professional Consulting Agreements.Provide legal assistance in the development, review, and updating of firm policies, procedures, template agreements, and department best practices.Counsel management with respect to compliance and ethics, and conduct internal training and information sessions.Liaise with the firm’s Risk Management Department to identify/assess liability for provision of services.Exercise good commercial judgment to understand business needs and provide appropriate and responsive legal support.Act as internal clients’ trusted colleague who coordinates strategy with respect to commercial contracting, compliance, contractual disputes, and best practices.Enhance and support the department’s technology solutions and knowledge management efforts.Requirements:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state.Prefer 3-7 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house with experience negotiating and drafting contracts.Ability to conceptualize and articulate practical and creative solutions to meet business needs and legal requirements.Ability to work independently, but in a team environment.Start a lasting career with Jones Lang LaSalle today!We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
