Job DetailsAs a Traveling Superintendent specializing in drywall and metal stud construction, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. From project initiation to completion, you'll be our eyes and ears on the ground, managing resources, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining quality control throughout the construction process.
5+ years Superintendent experience with a focus on Commercial drywall and metal stud construction.
In-depth knowledge of drywall and metal stud installation techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
Proven track record of effectively leading and supervising on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to project management.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, with a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
Willingness and flexibility to travel to project sites across designated regions as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, but not required.
Able to successfully manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site teams.
Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes related to drywall and metal framing.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
