What the Accounts Payable Clerk will do:

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be a vital member of the accounting team responsible for managing the company's full cycle accounts payable process. Specific duties for the Accounts Payable Clerk include:

• Processing full-cycle accounts payable, including reviewing, coding, and posting invoices.
• Running weekly check runs, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors.
• Checking and approving all vouchers for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Prepare invoice deduction notices as necessary and address discrepancies.
• Responding to all vendor inquiries and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended payment terms when necessary.
• Preparing and issuing accounts payable checks and printing all A/P reports.
• Maintaining accounts payable files and performing required analysis of accounts.
• Assisted with monthly closings and worked on accounts receivable and special projects as needed.
