Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our fast-paced manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial management team, leading financial operations and contributing to the strategic financial planning of the company. This position requires a professional who is adept at managing and coordinating all company accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, and providing strategic financial insight to support company growth and profitability. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
2. Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
3. Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
4. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, budgets, and forecasts to the executive team.
5. Develop and manage internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure minimal financial risk.
6. Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report, financial audits, and tax returns.
7. Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
8. Provide strategic management of the accounting and finance functions.
9. Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with the executive management team.
10. Spearhead the annual budgeting and planning process.
11. Work with senior teams to grow the business, formulating strategies and plans.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. An MBA, CPA, or related designation is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of proven accounting experience, preferably in a senior role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, and strategic planning.
4. Strong understanding of internal controls and financial auditing.
5. Excellent management and supervisory skills.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and related systems.
9. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
