Prepare investor and program specific closing documents for all mortgage products offered including residential and second lien mortgage loans. Will prepare and obtain all necessary loan documentation to secure company position. Review and compile financial information and figures to transmit to the title company for creation of the Closing Disclosure (CD). Send appropriate closing documentation to the Title Company and document files according to established procedures. Respond in a timely and professional manner to inquiries from applicants, title companies, realtors and other interested parties pertaining to title loan closing or documentation. Ensure Corporate Credit Policy, HOEPA and all Federal and State Lending Regulations are upheld.

Coordinate with title companies the closing of residential mortgage loan files received from processing. Ensure that the loan has been underwritten and verify that all Underwriting conditions have been met. Compare the investor lock including program and rate with the Underwriting approval. Review various policies associated with the loan to ensure loan has adequate coverage and lenders interest is properly protected. Review title commitment to insure that all liens have pay off statements or subordination agreements as applicable. Review title commitment to insure that all necessary exceptions are removed. Review all related documents in loan file to determine the accuracy of the property addresses being used as collateral. Accurately enter all closing and loan information into document preparation system Encompass. Ensure legal/regulatory procedures are followed and compliance practices meet all Federal and State standards. Successfully document mortgage loan file within Encompass system as required. Tracking and data fields to be completed prior to final funding of the mortgage loan. Transmit closing figures to Title Company for preparation of Closing Disclosure (CD). Calculate and balance loan file for final determination of funding amount. Review Closing Disclosure (CD) for accuracy and completeness of settlement fees, loan amount and other fees. Contact the Title Company with any necessary changes to the Closing Disclosure (CD). Correspond with branch loan originators or processors to have them review the final Closing Disclosure (CD). Respond in a timely and professional manner to inquiries from applicants, title companies, realtors and other interested parties pertaining to the loan closing or documentation. Provide complete and necessary documents to accounting department and internal mortgage contact for the tracking of loan fees, loan amounts and commissions. Review the funding package for accuracy and completeness. Follow policies and procedures as it relates to the tracking and audit of Official checks used to fund mortgage loans. Perform other duties as assigned.

College degree or equivalent work experience plus 3-5 years mortgage loan closing or related experience required. Expert knowledge and experience in all first and second mortgage credit products and in retail closing. Expert knowledge and experience in mortgage loan compliance. Proficient in Encompass, Excel, Word and other systems as required. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must have excellent written communication and strong verbal skills. Project a professional image and collaborates with others to accomplish goals and demanding deadlines. Must have the ability to prioritize, be highly organized and have solid problem solving and decision making skills.

This position can work remotely from anywhere in Missouri or from any of our bank locations throughout the Holding Company in Missouri.
