Position Description:

LCG Inc. is seeking a Senior Service Desk Specialist responsible for providing strong technical experience in providing technical solutions and support to hardware, software, and operating systems in an inter-networked environment ensuring the efficient administration and maintenance of organization's IT infrastructure. The enterprise operating environment includes heterogeneous desktops/laptops operating primarily on Windows OS, which encompasses desktop applications, browsers, printers, and telecommunications and video. You will also provide vital support to our staff and work collaboratively with various teams to ensure seamless IT operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:Responds to internal and external client requests and provides technical support and training to end users either on the phone or in person including VIPs.Provide vendor coordination and management, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of third-party solutions.Identifies, researches, and resolves technical issues; escalates complex inquiries.Install and configure peripheral equipment such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives.Install and configure Windows operating systems and applications such as word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.Documents, tracks, and monitors customer requests to ensure timely resolutions utilizing Service Now.Diagnoses hardware, software, and operator problems and takes remedial actions or recommends procedural changes.Requirements:

College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or 5+ years equivalent work experienceCertifications in A+, HDI, MCSE or MCPs in current Microsoft workstation, server and applications3+ years demonstrated full-time experience troubleshooting current and previous Microsoft workstation operating system(s)3+ years demonstrated experience supporting client configuration, administration and network access in Microsoft server environmentsExpert knowledge of basic computer hardware, including Dell computers and laptops, printers, and mobile devices (iPhones).Expert experience with desktop operating systems, including Windows 10/11.Extensive application support experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 to include Publisher, Outlook, Access, Power Point, Excel, Word, Project, MS Teams, and OneNoteProven ability to work as part of a team as well as show initiative and ability to work independently.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Experience supporting Citrix and Cisco VPN.Experience creating Standard Operating Procedures.Experience providing Executive Support.Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.Demonstrated experience in evaluating and testing current and new software/hardware technology.Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring Jr. Technical staff.Strong documentation skills.Preferred Requirements:

Experience supporting Adobe Professional.Extensive experience supporting and using SharePoint.Experience using the Service Now ticketing system.Experience in leading projects.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $66,000 to $82,000 with a target of $78,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
