Position Title: Lead Product OwnerJob Overview:
We are seeking a
Lead
Product Owner
to drive value through building, managing, and maintaining the product backlog in collaboration with IT teams. The Product Owner will represent the business, defining the purpose, value, and scope for the product offering. You will play a key role in shaping product direction, writing user stories, and collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the product meets business and market needs. Familiarity with AI concepts, machine learning models, and data analysis is crucial for communicating effectively with technical teams.Key Responsibilities:Leads the development of the product portfolio and provides workable solutions to satisfy customer and market expectations in close collaboration with stakeholders, Product Owners, and scrum teams.Collaborates with management to identify and plan product releases by reviewing milestones with stakeholders; manages the continual development of existing products.Communicates internally and externally, develops and maintains Product Roadmap(s).Must have Artificial Intelligence/AI background or Generative AI.Will participate in planning, decks planning on AI use cases.Should have experience to capture requirements for AI systems.Certifications nice to have.Education Level:
Bachelors DegreeEducation Details:
Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology or related fieldExperience : 8 years experience business analysis, business development, solutions development, system analysis, technical design/development implantation or equivalent experience OR6 years Previous product owner experience with an in-depth knowledge of agile process and principles.In lieu of a Bachelors degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.Additional Information:Equipment Requirement : Contractors must provide their own equipment (e.g., laptop, monitor). Access to a virtual desktop setup will be provided by Lumen’s client for system access.Work Environment : Fast-paced with frequently changing priorities and workloads. Must meet deadlines and handle multiple customer demands.This Product Owner position is ideal for individuals passionate about product development, Agile methodologies, and AI/machine learning technologies.
