Pay: $18.00/HR plus $1.50/HR shift differential
Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrialequipment.•Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.•On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.•Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods andOSHA standards.•Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.•Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.•Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of productsare loaded and shipped.•Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, orcontainers.•Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report qualityvariances.•Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and securityare maintained.•Assist in physical inventories.•Ensure proper stock rotation.•Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count,stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.JOB DESCRIPTION•Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service,Transportation and Maintenance.•Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.•Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafeconditions that can't be self-corrected to the leadership team.•Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliancewhen observed.•Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.•Other duties as assigned.
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.•Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.•Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).•Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment(e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safetypolicies).
