Full Time: Monday-Friday. 7am - finish. Hours can fluctuate so flexibility is required.

OVERVIEW
The Chadwell Supply Lead Driver Supervisor transports product goods and materials from and between Chadwell Supply distribution facilities, customers, and vendors. Daily work schedules vary according to business transactions and customer needs. Work shifts may include and require late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. The Lead Driver Supervisor knows all Chadwell Supply delivery area routes associated with their distribution area and can fill in for any route driver. This position also leads and manages all other Deliver Drivers associated with their distribution area. This position ensures that all delivery vehicles, associated with their delivery area, are maintained and is responsible for the maintenance records of those vehicles.
REQUIREMENTS
Have a clean driving record (MVR) with less than 3 total points and no points less than one year old. Zero points on applicants' MVR is preferred and considered above applicants with MVR's that reflect points.
Be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
Pass a DOT physical and obtain a DOT Medical Examination Card if required by law.
Have previous employee supervision experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a delivery driver.
Be able to read road maps, follow GPS directions, and efficiently navigate highways and roads.
Have a High School Diploma, GED or specified education such as an AS, BA, etc.
Have excellent computer skills and be able to learn new computer programs and processes within the Chadwell Supply operating systems.
DUTIES
Coordinate all Delivery Driver safety meetings, maintains safety meeting attendance records for Delivery Drivers, and ensures both are posted in the Compass Info Capture areas as assigned by Branch Supervision.
Reviews LYTX Driver Safety Program coaching events for the Delivery Drivers assigned and provides coaching to change unsafe and negative driving behaviors.
Assist Branch Supervision in recognizing and presenting Safe Driver certificates and awards.
Lead and manage at least 4 to 9 branch or remote delivery area Delivery Drivers.
Assist Branch Supervision in the training for new branch or remote delivery area Delivery Drivers.
Assist Branch Supervision with all requirements and information recovery for the branch or remote delivery area Delivery Driver record files in Compass.
Ensure all daily truck inspections for all delivery fleet vehicles are performed by branch or remote delivery area Delivery Drivers as assigned by Branch Supervision.
Accountable for all delivery fleet vehicles, fuel cards, fuel receipts, and ignition keys and all spares as assigned by Branch Supervision.
Accountable for the completion of all daily delivery manifests by the branch or remote delivery area Delivery Drivers as assigned by Branch Supervision.
