TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Corpus Christi, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/04/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel 872731 Responsibilities: Meet expectations of One Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Participate in emergency response (Code Blue and White). Conduct airway management, including nasotracheal and endotracheal suctioning. Deliver aerosolized medications. Manage ventilators (setup and operation). Perform oral hygiene and maintain airway retaining devices. Manage airway support devices such as BiPAP and CPAP. Administer oxygen delivery devices and conduct therapeutic monitoring. Analyze chest films and collect and analyze blood gases. Perform EKG analysis. Ensure accurate and complete documentation. Clean and stock equipment and supplies as necessary. Participate in CAP and JC surveys. May function as Shift Leader or Team Leader. Advanced practice skills may include therapeutic gas management and monitoring (INO and HeO2), pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy assistance, hemodynamic monitoring, waveform analysis, nocturnal SpO2 evaluations (Desaturation Studies), polysomnography, and transport duties. Job Requirements: Education/Skills: Adhere to licensure and certification requirements. Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: RT or RCP License in the state of employment required. BLS certification required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the NBRC required. Current ACLS certification required.
