TravelThis is a floating position throughout Auburn (or possibly Covington) to any ICU level patient or below; majority of time (75%) will be spent with PCU level patients in ED overflow
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN (preferred)
Skills required: cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring, vent/trachs and bipap management, invasive line management, ostomy, general drains, chest tubes, IV medication titration; may act as lead in ED holding
Consider first time traveler: Yes
Patient Types: respiratory failure, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, general post-op patients, CVAs, ETOH, overdose; NO craniotomies, major traumas, or major cardiothoracic
Charting System & Equipment: EPIC, Alaris (IV Pumps), Pyxis (medication dispensing)
Weekend rotation: every other
