Macine Operator

Nesco Resource is hiring for our client in the Elmira area for a Machine Operator.
This is a Permanent Full Time position Monday thru Friday
2nd shift 3pm to 11pm
$17-$20 per hour

• Read and fully understand the job envelope and special instructions.
• Must follow all safety rules including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Follow the Standard Operating Procedures as they apply to this position.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and First Time Quality information.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift and bend throughout an 8 hour shift.
• Operate Sheeter and Guillotine trimmer
• Operate a fork lift, clamp truck and electric jack.
• Load and unload tractor trailers.
• Inventory control
• Supply pressrooms all raw material.
• Good housekeeping practices
• Follow all written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. Excellent mechanical aptitude required. Must complete training and become certified to operate fork and clamp trucks and electric jacks. High motivation is a must.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
