Description
DescriptionWe believe good things come in great packaging!Privately owned and operated since 2002, Complete Design & Packaging has grown from a small brown box manufacturer into a state-of-the-art sheet feeder plant specializing in high graphic packaging and Point-Of-Purchase displays.
We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Forklift).Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 3:00pm; Friday, 6:30am - 11:00am
Work 38.5 hours and get paid 40 hours!
Occasional Overtime may be required.
Responsibilities of this position are listed below and may encompass all daily functions:
Stages completed pallets at assigned dock doors for shipment.Loads finished pallets on correct designated trailer.Ensures that all orders are picked/shipped complete, in the right quantity and in good condition.Has minimal product damage (sheets or finished) on a daily basis.Understands product placement and bin locations.Utilizes RF unit technology for order selecting process.Checks and verifies incoming and outgoing loads to ensure accuracy, noting any discrepancies and/or any damages to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.Keeps a well-organized staging area to minimize the loading and unloading times and maximize the flow of goods in and out of the dock area.Performs related tasks as required or directed by plant management.Requirements
To be considered, candidates must:
At least 2 years experience in a primary role as a
Sit-Down Forklift
Operator ( does not include pallet jack, order pickers, reach) .Be at least 18 years of age.High School Diploma or GED required.Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations.Active listening, evaluating, and problem-solving skills.Ability to use radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to perform basic math.Ability to read and interpret documents such as shipping paperwork, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
