This position reports to

Planning & Fulfillment Manager

Your role and responsibilities

Operate motorized equipment (order picker) to accurately conduct GUA and cycle counts Ensure inventory accuracy by following documented procedures. Use equipment to retrieve and put away material from locations as needed. Follow all safety guidelines and always use appropriate PPE. Meet and maintain department quality/productivity standards. Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift and at designated times. Work in other departments including returns center, put away and picking as needed. Supports activities related to quality management within local organizational unit. Executes and assists the local organization with quality content, tools, and systems. Supports quality assurance activities in collaboration with local Production, Engineering, and other relevant functions. Reports quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages. Utilizes measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes. Performs assigned tasks in a safe manner, setting an example for others to exercise safety in their daily activities. Sku/location profiling Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications for the role

High School Diploma or equivalency Minimum 3months experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment. Basic computer skills and understanding of overall distribution operations. Working knowledge of WMS and Radio Frequency (RF) unit. Ability to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (PIT) - Order picker (preference given to individuals who can operate order picker and reach truck) Ability to read and comprehend information and count inventory accurately. Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds repetitively and frequently. Ability to walk, bend, stretch at all module levels - not afraid of heights Required to stand, bend walk for extended periods of time throughout shift Detailed and team oriented with ability to multitask as needed. Flexible to work different shifts as required and overtime with little or no notice. Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US More about us
