2nd shift (5:00pm-3:30am)Job Description:Supports the Production area by supplying all production material needed to machine and pack parts by a forklift or tugger. Strictly follows internal systems for production inventory control. Keeps the Warehouse clean and organized.Essential Functions: Follows all Company policies as directed by the Employee Handbook, the Safety Rules and Regulations, and the Quality Manual. Completes internal forklift certification program. Conducts and documents pre-shift inspection of forklift. Supplies component parts and empty totes to the Production line by tugger. Supplies raw material, WIP, rack and pallet to the Production line by forklift with the exception of KP Final Driver. Takes finished goods and work-in-process to the warehouse with the exception of KP finished goods racks. Removes surplus totes, racks, and packaging to external warehouse. Pull and replace miscellaneous boxes on warehouse flow racks. Properly handles material to prevent accidents or the damage of material. Practices FIFO of materials at all times. Follows Kanban System for each department. Reports any irregular situations or low inventory levels within limited scope of knowledge, to the Production Group Leader Dumps scrap bins. Assists with TPM and 5S for Dock and Warehouse.Skills/Experience:Skills/Experience: High School Diploma or GED. 2 years previous forklift experience preferred. Current Motor Vehicle License. Good customer service skills. Good safety record.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to maneuver around the Plant Ability to continuously mount and dismount forklift or other material handling equipment, repeatedly bend, squat, move both arms above the head, and move head straight up and down and side to side Good hand strength, good finger dexterity, repeatedly able to grasp small and large objects and ability to rotate wrists, arms, and shoulders Good eyesight and hearing; and Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
