**Job Title:** Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night, 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours in one workweek for 3x12-hour shifts
**Experience:** Minimum 18 months required
**License:** Must have an in-state or compact license in hand to submit
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS required; NIH preferred
**Must-Have:**- Ability to work every other weekend- Neuro and oncology experience preferred- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias- Competency in accessing ports and starting IVs- Central line care/management and chemotherapy monitoring experience preferred
**Job Description:**- Provide care in a Medical PCU Oncology and Stroke Unit with mixed acuity levels, including medical patients and some requiring PCU level of care- Engage with MedSurg patients and float within the scope to meet facility needs- Work with patient ratios of 1:5-6 for general care and 1:3-4 for PCU level- Candidates must float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as required- Must be open to accommodating a block schedule to be discussed
**Special Requirements:**- Experience in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
**Additional Information:**- The facility has 194 staffed beds and uses Cerner charting system- Scrub color: red top and black bottoms
