Position Title: Business Analyst - III/Senior Deal Desk AnalystLocation: (Hybrid) New York, NY, or Chicago, San Francisco, Indy, Dallas, Seattle - someone from this hubAnticipated Start Date: 1-2 weeksPlease note this is the target date and is subject to change. Overview of the Role:Join and become part of a dynamic team at the core of driving healthy and sustainable revenue growth! As a key member of the Deal Desk team, you will provide deal structuring and pricing expertise to our AMER sales verticals. You will play a critical role in mitigating risks, supporting complex transactions, and uncovering optimization opportunities by leveraging data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:* Trusted Advisor: Act as a strategic partner to senior Sales Leadership, account teams, and other key internal stakeholders.* Deal Review: Review, vet, and provide guidance on complex transactions for Deal Desk and Sales Executives.* Deal Structuring: Advise on pros/cons of deal structures, mitigate risks within contractual terms, and take ownership of final approval decisions.* Critical Thinking: Analyze and identify risks and opportunities within deals, making data-informed recommendations as variables evolve.* Revenue Optimization: Partner with account teams to create concession strategies that maximize revenue and protect margins.* Product Collaboration: Work with product teams to design optimal pricing models and strategies for new products and bundled solutions.* Best Practices Development: Develop and share pricing and business term best practices using market data and insights.* Sales Enablement: Train sales teams on optimized deal structures and pricing strategies.* Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to optimize contract terms and successfully close deals.
Required Qualifications:* 6+ years of experience in pricing strategy, sales financial analysis, or related fields.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience (e.g., extracurricular leadership, military service, volunteer roles).* Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across teams.* Skilled at presenting ideas clearly and credibly to all organizational levels.* High attention to detail and accuracy.* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.* Strong adaptability and quick thinking in ambiguous situations.* Ability to handle conflict and facilitate productive discussions.
