**Shift:** Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

**Experience:** At least 2 years of experience in specialty required, with at least 1 prior travel assignment
**License:** Pending DC license accepted, but must have license prior to start date
**Certifications:**- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)- Preferred: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
**Must-Have:**- Skills in Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias- Starting IVs- Experience with High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
**Job Description:**
- Work in a Medical-Surgical/Intermediate Care Unit with a variety of diagnoses.- Care for thoracic surgery and other specialized surgery patients like Le Fort and AAA repair.- Handle patients with conditions such as GI bleeds, pneumonia, liver failure, and CHF exacerbations.- Work with a patient-nurse ratio of 1:4.- Manage medication through Pyxis system.- Complete orientation of 28 hours, modules prior to and during the orientation phase.- Care for COVID-19 patients as needed.- Flu vaccine required for all employees.- Previous experience in a teaching hospital is preferred.- Cerner charting system experience preferred.- Weekend coverage required every other weekend.- Scrubs are not provided; any color without hospital logos is acceptable.
