Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is looking for experienced MIG Welders to join our fabrication shop in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will work both independently and on a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
Weld structural steel members using (MIG) wirefeed processesWeld in 3G and 4G positions according to safety-oriented proceduresRead welding symbols and understand testing requirementsFollow proper safety instructionsWork in a team environmentPerform other duties as needed by supervisionEducation Requirements:
Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or related experience as a certified structural steel welder as determined by the plant managerJob Requirements/Special Skills:
Specific Structural Welding Skills:
Ability to pass a 3G and 4G weld test using GMAW process on 3/8" materialGood verbal communication skills with other employeesPositive attitudeOpen minded with a vision for continuous improvementAbility to understand weld symbols and testing requirementsAbility to read blueprintsSpecific Physical Skills:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessaryAbility to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
