77276BRJob Posting Title:Clinical Assistant -ORL, Waltham satelliteDepartment:Ambulatory ServicesAutoReqId:77276BRStatus:Full-TimeStandard Hours per Week:40 Job Posting Category:Nursing SupportJob Posting Description:The Clinical Assistant will be responsible for:+ Assisting clinicians in a fast-paced environment (including but not limited to- obtaining and recording patient vital signs, rooming patients, assisting clinicians during examinations, obtaining pertinent reports/imaging)+ Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions.+ Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Physician.+ Completing and documenting patient-related prescreening/postoperative telephone calls + Providing general support for clinical operations, including stocking, maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment.+ Maintaining safety and cleanliness of work area, ensuring area is compliant with regulatory and hospital policies.+ Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.+ Working a schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts+ Ability to work in the Waltham clinic.To qualify, you must have:+ 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience or related healthcare experience.+ Pediatric experience strongly preferred.+ A HS Diploma or equivalent.+ The ability to work with computer systems+ Strong communication skills+ Flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment+ Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.Office/Site Location:BostonRegular, Temporary, Per Diem:Regular Remote Eligibility :Onsite Only
