Job Title: PMO Manager

Reports To: PMO Director

Location: Remote and Client Sites

Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

The PMO Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the Project Management Office. This includes ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The PMO Manager will implement best practices, support project managers, and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. TMG PROVIDES CONSULTING AND DELIVERY SERVICES FOR NON-SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS

Key Responsibilities:

PMO Operations:

Manage day-to-day operations of the PMO and ensure alignment with business objectivesEnsure compliance to existing company processes, workflows, best practices, and communication requirementsMaintain and enhance project management methodologies, standards, and toolsFacilitate communication and collaboration among PMO team membersMonitor and report on portfolio performance using project data metrics and analyticsMonitor and report on portfolio performance using project data metrics and analytics

Project Oversight:

Provide oversight and coaching to delivery teams in the planning, execution, and completion of projectsMonitor project performance and provide guidance to ensure successful project outcomes

Resource Coordination:

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projectsManage resource availability and allocation across all projects

Risk and Issue Management:

Support and coach project teams in Identifying and mitigating risks that may impact project outcomesProvide solutioning support and coaching to project teams for issues, risks, and various project challenges

Stakeholder Communication:

Establish and maintain effective communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, issues, and risk mitigation.Ensure stakeholder satisfaction through efficient project delivery and customer-focused service.

Continuous Improvement:Enhance, develop, and implement PMO policies and procedures continually improving PMO maturityFacilitate post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learnedConduct regular PMO team reviews focusing on staff development and growthProvide training and development opportunities for project managers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field7+ years successful experience leading large, complex projects & programs3+ years proven experience leading projects/programs in an IT services or consulting environment3+ years experience in leadership within and beyond project/program management environment3+ years experience developing standards and processes to successfully manage project financial, schedules, risks and issues, and communication/reporting plansExpert knowledge of project management practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Successful development and deployment of organizational project/program delivery processes and workflowsExcellent leadership, organizational, and critical thinking skillsPMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is requiredBroad experience with project management tools and softwareCompetencies:

Excellent leadership, team development, and management skillsExpert problem-solving and analytical skillsExpert communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on building relationships with clients and stakeholdersStrong knowledge of commercial networking infrastructure, equipment, and devicesStrong understanding reading and interpreting architectural and IT CAD drawingsExperience managing and prioritizing multiple large, complex projects/programs simultaneouslyTeam leader with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
