Demonstrate advanced polishing and testing capabilities and the ability to set-up and operate multiple pieces of polishing equipment while demonstrating an expertise in all polishing techniques in spindle polishing both flat and radius optics, as well as CP precision flat optics. 2. Evaluate specific optical polishing requirements and make determination of best practice for manufacturing (polishing) success to meet all defined specifications related to surface figure, surface quality, surface roughness and other related specifications as it relates to the polishing of a specific precision optical product. Adjust tooling and spindles as necessary to achieve desired results. 3. Perform set-up, operation, and maintenance of optical polishing machines as it relates to item 1, above. Clean and maintain machines and work area. 4. Load and unload individual optical components and optical "blocks" consisting of multiple optic configurations on to and off of optical polishing equipment.
