Job Description:
Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Senior System Administrator. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, this position will be responsible for providing system administration for all PR offices and data centers. In addition, the successful candidate will be able to collaborate with both the infrastructure team as well as the Applications team and communicate effectively throughout the entire Company. The Senior System administrator will also need to be able to deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and innovative environment.
General ResponsibilitiesProvides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of server infrastructureDemonstrates a strong understanding of system architecture and interdependenciesSupports Microsoft products - m365, Azure, Windows environmentUses and maintains OS and application deployment services with SCCM, IntuneDrives to complete work efforts in a fast-paced environment with competing prioritiesMust be customer- centric and maintain a positive attitude toward customer issuesIdentifies, suggests, plans, implements, and documents potential procedural improvements with guidance as requiredCollaborates with other IT team members to deliver best possible solutionsQualifications
10 (10) years of Windows administration and deployment in an enterprise environment (server administration, GPO, AD, SCCM, Intune)Five (5) years of experience with virtualization environments - VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-VFive (5) years of experience with cloud deployments - Azure, AWSFive (5) years of experience in data protection (back up, restore, replication, DR - disaster recovery)Five (5) years of experience using Powershell for administration automationFive (5) years of experience with Microsoft 365 environments - MS Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePointExperience with PKI, Certificate Authority, public DNS record deployment and managementNetworking, TCP/IP stack knowledgeSome Linux administration experience preferred, not requiredProven methodology for troubleshooting issuesProven ability to work independently or as a team to approach problems creatively and resolve them in a timely mannerStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel including executive leadership, senior management, users, vendors, and subcontractorsExperience with security audits and managing security solutionsExperience at a publicly held company with SOX requirements is preferredBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related discipline is preferred
