Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,434 per week

Certification Details Required Certifications: BCLS, NIH Stroke Certification ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification preferred or as mandated per unit specifics and safe practice guidelines Job Details First Time Travelers Accepted Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30). Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS Shift Requirements: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights Every other weekend Will work with RN to balance preference and unit needs Skillset Requirements: Med/Surg, pre/post neuro surgery, total joint replacements, Trauma Level I, II, III, or IV, IV Start required. Ortho trauma, & interpretation/management of dysrhythmias preferred Floating Requirements: Yes Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6 Minimum Experience Required: 18 months Unit Information: Orthopedic, GYN, Urology, Neurosurgery, Medical patients Total Joint Replacements Continuous Bladder Irrigation Hysterectomy Chest Tubes Neurosurgery ENT Surgery All Bone Fractures All medical diagnosis (COPD, Pneumonia, UTI, Cellulitis, COVID, Small Bowel Obstruction, etc.).
