Material Handler I 1st shift

Adecco is partnering with a leading client of ours in MILFORD, DE! This is a contract-to-hire assignment that is hiring immediately. This position is hiring for a Production worker who would produce dental supplies. Responsibilities: + Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. + Routes items to departments. + Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. + Unload, inspect and sort freight by batch numbers. + Separates quarantine items from remaining stock. + Verifies and signs for incoming material receipts. + Transport packaging of orders of various sizes, weights and quantities and segregation for pickup. + Assist in loading trucks while verifying the shipment is completed in accordance with the Bill of Lading and methods of shipping, including piece count. + Verify product received from production/warehouse is consistent with the accompanying paperwork with regards to item number, batch number, quantity, etc. + Flexible hours based on department needs. + Must have valid drivers license for transporting materials and supplies by truck between West Milford, Shipping and the Warehouses, when needed. + Attention to detail and ability to accurately count. + Legible handwriting. + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and memos.Experience requirements: + At least 1 year forklift experience requiredRequirements: Must have proof of High School Diploma/GED Must pass an oral drug test Must have steel toe safety shoes requiredPhysical Activities:Climbing.
