Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years of L&D, Mother/Baby, Antepartum, Circulate OR experience License: Valid State License required at the time of submission Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS - NRP - Fetal Heart Monitoring Must-Have: - Epic experience preferred Job Description: - Provide direct care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Address the physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and their families. - Collaborate with nursing peers, co-workers, attending physicians, and allied support services. - Manage the care of assigned patients and direct the activities of ancillary staff. - Night shifts with weekend rotation required, no on-call requirement. Additional Information: - Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. - Residents living within 50 miles accepted at a local rate. - Copy of certifications required, all certifications must be AHA and in hand at the time of submission. - Background policy requires disclosure of any hits or DUIs prior to submission. - Return staff must have been gone one year to return as a traveler. - Orientation consists of 16 non-billable hours.
