ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management, Strategic Planning, and IT Operations.
Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst will support the preparation of financial statements, assist with internal control assessments, and help resolve accounting issues. This role focuses on federal financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement, offering hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:Assist in preparing financial statements and the Annual Financial Report (AFR).Prepare footnotes and support the annual reporting timeline.Help update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Perform quarterly variance analysis to ensure accurate reporting.Internal Controls (A-123):
Assist in conducting assessments of internal controls (OMB A-123).Help develop Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and document control objectives.Support Service Organization Controls (SOC1) reviews and control testing.Program Support:
Identify and help resolve accounting issues.Support quarterly reviews of Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E).Conduct data calls and assist with improving data entry processes.Qualifications:
Active TS Clearance with CI PolyBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.4+ years of accounting, auditing, or financial analysis experience.Strong interest in federal financial reporting and compliance.CGFM, CDFM, or CPA is a plus.
