Other services offered on site include chiropractics and podiatry.Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Physician Supervisor, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant, provides health care services to patients who may have acute episodic conditions or chronic problems, as well as those seeking health evaluation, preventive care and/or education and counseling.
Job RequirementsAt least
two (2) years’
experience as a primary care Advanced Practice Provider.Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Physician Assistant programMaster's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.National Provider Identification Number (NPI).Computer
proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systemsSpecialization in Geriatrics medicine a plusLicensesCurrent California Registered Nurse LicenseCurrent and unrestricted California Advanced Practice Provider LicenseBoard of Registered Nurses Certification Furnishing Number issued by California Board of Registered NursingCurrent and unrestricted Controlled Substances Registration Certificate from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)Valid California Driver’s License, proof of auto liability insurance and clean driving recordCertificationsCertification as an Advanced Practice Provider by an accredited professional nursing organization such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or
