We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing both hands-on and remote technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with various IT projects. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting our 24/7 operations, ensuring the smooth running of our technical infrastructure.

Provide tier 2 technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Windows 10, 11, and MS Office 365 Suite.Install and configure a wide variety of computer hardware and software, ensuring systems are optimized and up-to-date.Perform technical analysis and problem-solving for a range of IT issues, escalating as needed.Identify and manage software licensing needs, installing moderately complex software systems when required.Support IT operations in a 24x7 environment, including participating in on-call rotations.Collaborate with the Network Engineering team to recommend and implement standard software solutions that meet customer needs.Disassemble and repair computer equipment, replacing defective parts and performing system upgrades.Provide proactive hands-on and remote support to end-users, prioritizing their needs effectively.What You Will Bring

:

Associate degree or Technical School certification in Information Technology or a related field. MCSE/MCP certification preferred.1-2 years of experience supporting PC hardware and operating systems, particularly HP hardware.CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong knowledge of IT operations best practices and project management.Familiarity with working in a change-controlled environment and experience supporting 24/7 operations.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work with minimal supervision.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical team members.Ability to create and contribute to written manuals, processes, and procedures.Willingness to travel to support multiple pharmacy locations (10-20% travel).Willing to be on call once a month.
