SEM Strategist

We're seeking a passionate SEM Strategist to join the team of our client - a Kansas City-based digital agency. This role is perfect for a data-driven marketer who thrives on crafting and executing impactful search engine marketing campaigns. Based on candidate experience, this role could be remote with in-office work as needed OR on-site Monday through Thursday and remote on Friday. This is an excellent opportunity with full benefits including generous PTO and holiday time off, 401(k) with match and opportunity for growth as the company expands.Responsibilities:Primary owner of the digital marketing aspects in researching, planning, and implementing successful marketing campaignsCollaborates with project managers and strategists to devise and implement effective marketing plans for clientsManage SEM for one-off website design and development projectsSupports identifying, reporting, and analyzing marketing metrics to measure company and client successOffers data-supported solutions and recommendations to optimize marketing campaignsRegularly iterates marketing strategy to maximize what is working and minimize what is notCreatively and effectively resolves complex SEM issuesSupports in identifying and proposing incremental opportunities for further client engagementRequired Skills:1-4 years SEM experienceProficiency in SEM tools and techniques, including Google AdsBasic understanding of SEO tools and techniquesAbility to update CMS websites (ideally WordPress)Analyze web traffic metrics and monitor SEM key performance indicatorsProficient in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides)Experience with various analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Tag Manager)Proficient in reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio)Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for client interactionsAbility to prioritize, organize, and multitask effectivelyQuick learner with adaptability to new situations and remote work environmentsProficient in various reporting tools (eg Looker studio)
