Job DetailsESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct complicated research projects in the prosecution of cases
Draft moving papers, oppositions involving novel and complex issues
Appear at hearing for motions and oppositions
Conduct depositions of PMK witnesses, apex employees, mechanical and fraud experts, etc.
Assist with trial strategy
Seek out and recommend improvements in the client communication efforts
Collaborate with colleagues to implement policies and proactively develop improvements to existing firm policies and procedures, including client communication
Provide legal support for the coordination of inter- and intradepartmental operations
Timely resolution of issues that may arise
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Member in good standing of the California Bar
At least (1) years of litigation experience as a licensed attorney
Genuine interest in consumer protection and representation
Hunger for professional growth, with a “no job is too big or too small” mentality
Collaborative and willing to operate in a team-oriented environment
Experience supervising and training junior attorneys preferred
Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required
Proficient in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook
Skilled and decisive problem-solver with the ability to unravel complex issues
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and ability to track and comply with deadlines in a busy and fast-paced environment
Willing to travel within California as needed for court appearances, vehicle inspections, and depositions
