Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join our dynamic and innovative construction team. As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our operations, overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be working on a variety of construction projects with a focus on paving and asphalt paving. This role requires a strong understanding of construction estimating software, budgeting, negotiation, concrete materials knowledge, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review and interpret project blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the construction strategy and appropriate methods.
3. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all aspects of the project are completed within the allocated budget.
4. Utilize construction estimating software to accurately forecast project costs and resources.
5. Conduct negotiations with vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure the best terms and conditions.
6. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
7. Manage the interface between the construction activities and functional groups to ensure smooth coordination of operations.
8. Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
9. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
10. Troubleshoot any project-related issues and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in paving construction and asphalt paving.
4. Strong knowledge of construction estimating software.
5. Excellent skills in budgeting and financial management.
6. Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful contract negotiation.
7. In-depth knowledge of concrete materials and their appropriate use in construction.
8. Ability to read, interpret, and implement construction blueprints.
9. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
10. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
11. Proficient in relevant software including MS Office Suite, Project Management software.
12. Certification in project management (PMP) is a plus.
