Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As a Consulting Patient Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating patient scheduling, registration, and financial consultation processes.
- Managing patient accounts, including processing payments, handling insurance claims, and resolving any billing discrepancies.
- Liaising between patients and healthcare providers to ensure a smooth financial process.
- Providing financial consultation to patients, explaining costs, payment options, and insurance coverage in a clear, empathetic manner.
- Collaborating with the accounting team to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations.
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients.
- Providing Spanish language support to patients and team members, if necessary.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Patient Coordinator role will have:
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in a patient coordination role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling financial data.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Proficiency in Spanish, both written and spoke a PLUS!
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
