Job Details

Responsibilities: Varied caseload, involving employment, securities/FINRA, and professional liability defense

Requirements: Must have CA bar admission and previous experience in civil litigation

Qualifications:

  • Employment experience for a mixed caseload including employment, securities/FINRA, and professional liability defense
  • CA bar admission
  • Civil litigation experience is required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
  • Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
  • Strategize, prepare for, and attend trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration
  • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses
  • Provide guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals to resolve or prevent conflicts
  • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal statutes and applicable laws
